My current interests center on the systematics of the Dolichopodidae,
especially the subfamily Hydrophorinae. Work is continuing on the Hydrophorinae
for the monographic series "Flies of the Nearctic Region". Two volumes
are in print; two additional volumes will probably complete this study.
I am also working on the relationships of the Southern Hemisphere hydrophorines
to the nearctic fauna.
